Traditional lounges in most hotels and inns, especially modern ones are becoming a thing of the past – but -no open plan, A-plan or ‘any other plan’ lounge areas here. Two lovely smallish yet deceptively spacious self contained rooms on the ground floor, very intimate with a superb fireplace, loaded with good books, magazines and games, and allowing you to get away from the relative ‘vibrancy’ of the bar.
